About Me

I create because I want to help tell stories of underrepresented groups in the media. People need to see themselves in media which can allow them to feel confident and not outside of a social standard that is exclusive. It’s nice to learn history about different backgrounds but in order to normalize certain groups they have to be casted in everyday roles. With this variety of representation, society will be able to see marginalized people as human.

My creative process starts with reviewing the material, be it script, treatment, and/or music. During this process, I begin to imagine what the story would look like on screen. I create a look book based on my initial reaction and thoughts then meet with the director to discuss the vision for each scene. After that, I would create a overhead diagrams, simple storyboards, and a shot list. Finally, I would implement the plan with the camera team on set.

I am a current third year senior film & television student at SCAD, designing and producing shots for television, film, and music videos. Being on set, I try to keep the energy and efficiency high. With long hours of work, I can help make production something people will enjoy.
